Custom packaging products is more expensive than buying prompt goods, as custom products, the company and the factory need to design, print and plate again. Have you ever considered how to reduce the cost of custom packaging such as custom packaging boxes. I have a few tips offered about reducing this cost a bit.
Make it smaller
Maybe you consider custom a big box for your cosmetic products, on the boxes you are going to print your company logo, brand name, company address, company information, graphics or other information you want your customers to see. They are all important, while you can reduce the size of these text and image. Then reduce the size of the box. As we all know, the cosmetic products are small size, a smaller box is also possbile without worrying anything.
Die cut shape option
When you want to custom a paper bag, die cut shape or punch out handle bag is a good choice, the cost of punching a hole or window on the top is less than adding two polyester rope handles, and the round punch out handle bags are really unforgettable than the common handle bags. What’s more, adding a window on the top would attract customers.
Coating options
Coating is necessary on the surface of the boxes&bags. While many people just know there are some types of coating ranging from matte look to glossy look. They don’t realize the different costs between different coatings. So when you decide to custom a box or a bag, it is worth considering which cost do you going to use, the matte, the glossy or the velvet soft-touching.
Make it thinner
Packaging boxes are constructed of grey paperboard and fancy paper. The thicker the paperboard is, the higher cost it is going to be. Perhaps you may worry if the paperboard becomes thinner, it will not protect the items well. Actually the daily items does not need such thick box.
